Most AI lesson plan generators stop at one lesson. Teachers plan on several time frames at once: the year that the curriculum asks for, the month of the current unit, next week and tomorrow’s class. The Planning category in Didaktos AI covers all of them. This page shows how to use the Didaktos AI lesson plan generator from the yearly plan down to a single lesson, step by step, with screenshots of the app.

How to create a yearly plan in 3 steps
Our example: 5th grade science for a school year from August to May.
Step 1: Choose Yearly Plan
Open Didaktos AI, click Planning and choose Yearly Plan in Resource Type. Set the subject, grade level and standard. Long plans come out as tables, so the Output Format changes to CSV Table by itself.
Step 2: Give the calendar and the units
Say when the year starts and ends, how it is divided and which units you must cover. If you already know your projects or test dates, add them.
5th grade science, school year from August to May in 4 quarters. Units: matter, ecosystems, Earth systems, space. One project per quarter and a unit test at the end of each unit.
Give the dates, the periods and the units you must cover.
Step 3: Review the year
Press Generate Resource. You get one row per period with the unit, the key topics and how you will assess it. Check that the order matches your school calendar and change anything with Edit: “move Space to Q3”, “add a review week before the final test”.
The whole year at a glance: periods, units, topics and assessments.
Zoom in: from the year to the month
When a unit starts, use Monthly Plan to plan it week by week. Describe the month, the unit and how many classes you have each week.
October plan for the Ecosystems unit, 5th grade, 4 weeks. Three 45-minute science classes a week. Include a schoolyard investigation in week 3.
Zoom in on one unit: a monthly plan, week by week.
From there, Weekly Plan gives you the five days of any week, and Daily Lesson Plan gives you the full lesson for each class. Save your settings with Template and each level takes less than a minute.
Working with long plans: computer, Word or spreadsheet
Yearly, monthly and weekly plans are wide tables with a lot of text. On a phone they look cramped, so we recommend:
Generate them on a computer when you can, where the whole table fits on the screen.
On a phone, turn it sideways and scroll the table, or download it.
Download the plan as a CSV file and open it in Excel or Google Sheets, or as a Word file to print or hand in.
Download long plans as CSV to open them in Excel or Google Sheets.
