In almost every class there is a student who needs the same content in a different way: shorter sentences, smaller steps, key words explained first or another way to show what they learned. Creating that version by hand, lesson after lesson, takes time most teachers do not have. The Inclusion category in Didaktos AI is an inclusive materials generator: five tools that adapt your content for dyslexia, ADHD, English learners and Universal Design for Learning (UDL), while keeping the same learning goal. This page shows how it works, step by step, with screenshots of the app.
Five tools to create inclusive materials
Tool
What it creates
Use it when…
Adapted Material (Dyslexia/ADHD)
Your text or activity with shorter sentences, chunked parts, key vocabulary highlighted, clear numbering and fewer items with the same objective
a student struggles to read or to stay with a long task
UDL Adjustment
Practical strategies for the three UDL principles: engagement, representation, and action and expression
you want to plan supports for the whole class
Plain Language Summary
The content rewritten in plain language: sentences of 15 words or fewer, common words, one idea per paragraph
English learners or families need a clear version
Learning Style Activity
The same activity in visual, auditory and hands-on versions
you want to offer several ways into the same objective
Shadow / Aide Guide
A guide for a classroom aide: routine, support strategies, signals with the teacher and a data collection template
a student has an aide or shadow in class
How to create inclusive materials in 4 steps
Our example: a 4th grade science reading about monarch butterfly migration, adapted for a student with dyslexia.
Inclusion holds the tools to adapt content for every learner.
Step 2: Choose the tool
In Resource Type, choose Adapted Material (Dyslexia/ADHD). The other four tools are in the same list.
Five tools, from an adapted text to a guide for a classroom aide.
Step 3: Paste the original and say who it is for
Set the subject and grade level. In Topic / Instructions, paste the text you want to adapt and describe the student’s need. Selecting the UDL tag adds Universal Design for Learning to the result.
Adapt this reading for a 4th grader with dyslexia, same learning goal: “Every autumn, millions of monarch butterflies travel up to 3,000 miles from Canada and the United States to the mountain forests of central Mexico, where they cluster on fir trees to survive the winter.”
Paste the original text and say who it is for. The learning goal stays the same.
Tip: describe the need, not the diagnosis only. “Reads slowly and loses the line” or “needs short steps and a check box for each” gives a better result than a label alone.
Step 4: Review the adapted version
Press Generate Resource. The adapted reading explains the key words first, splits the text into short parts the student can tick off one at a time and ends with a simple check. The content and the goal are the same as for the rest of the class.
Key words first, short parts to read one at a time and a simple check.
Need it shorter or with a picture cue? Press Edit and ask. When it is ready, download it as Word or print it.
Plan supports for the whole class with UDL Adjustment
Adapting one text helps one student. UDL Adjustment helps you plan the lesson so more students can access it from the start. Describe the lesson and your class, and you get strategies for each UDL principle, with extra supports for the groups you mention.

UDL Adjustment plans supports for the whole class around the same goal.
Adapt any resource in one click
You do not have to start from Inclusion. Every resource you create in Didaktos has a Simplify (UDL) quick action under the preview. It rewrites the lesson, worksheet or quiz with shorter sentences and simpler words, about two grade levels below, keeping the same information. See it in action in how to create assessments automatically.

Frequently asked questions
Does the adapted version change the content?
No. It changes how the content is presented, with shorter sentences, smaller steps and supports, but keeps the same learning goal as the original.
Can I adapt a worksheet or exam I already have?
Yes. Paste the text in Topic / Instructions, or with a Pro plan attach it as a PDF, Word file or photo.
Can it help English learners?
Yes. Use Plain Language Summary for a simpler version, mention English learners in UDL Adjustment, or use Translate to create a Spanish version of any resource.
Is this a replacement for an IEP or a specialist?
No. Didaktos helps you prepare accessible materials faster. Decisions about a student’s plan stay with you, your school’s specialists and the family.
