This guide shows how to plan a recycled materials art project in Didaktos AI, from the form to a ready-to-print lesson with steps, materials and a rubric.

1. Open Didaktos and go to Planning

1. Log in to Didaktos and open Didaktos AI.
2. On the home screen, click the “Planning” category.
3. In Resource Type, select “Daily Lesson Plan”. For a multi-day project, “PBL Project Guide” is also available.

2. Set the subject, grade, standard and format

1. Subject:
   Choose “Art / Music”.
2. Grade Level:
   Choose “Elementary (4-6)” for 5th grade.
3. Context / Standard:
   Leave “No specific standard”, or choose your local curriculum.
4. Output Format:
   Leave “Plain Text”. Didaktos selects the best format automatically, and you can change it.

3. Write the topic / instructions

1. In Methodology, select the PBL tag (project-based learning) to frame the activity as a project.
2. Click inside the “Topic / Instructions” text box.
3. Type the following (or something very similar):

   Create a creative art project for 5th‑grade students using recycled materials. The project should encourage imagination, hands‑on exploration, and environmental awareness. Include a clear description of the final product, a list of required recycled materials, and step‑by‑step instructions. Add optional extensions for early finishers. Keep the language accessible and classroom‑friendly.

4. Optionally, add constraints such as:
   • “Limit the project to one 45‑minute class.”
   • “Use only materials commonly found at home or school.”
   • “Include a short reflection prompt about recycling.”

4. (Optional) Attach supporting files

1. Click the “Attach” button.
2. Select a file from your computer, such as photos of examples, a rubric or a prior lesson plan: an image, PDF, Word (.docx), .txt, .md or .csv file (max 5 MB).
3. The file appears next to the button. Didaktos uses it as inspiration and context for the project.

5. Choose language

1. At the top of the panel, select EN so the project is generated in English.
2. If you later want a Spanish version, select ES and generate again, or use the Translate action on the result.

6. Generate the creative art project

1. Review all fields:
   • Resource Type: Daily Lesson Plan
   • Subject: Art / Music
   • Grade Level: Elementary (4-6)
   • Methodology: PBL
   • Output Format: Plain Text
   • Topic / Instructions: Your detailed request for a recycled‑materials art project
2. Click the “Generate Resource” button.
3. Wait a few seconds while Didaktos creates the project description.

7. Review and refine the result

1. Read the generated project and check that it:
   • Works as a true recycled materials art project, with reused items at the core of the activity.
   • Includes a clear final product description.
   • Provides step‑by‑step instructions.
   • Is appropriate for 5th‑grade students.
   • Encourages creativity and environmental awareness.
2. Click “Edit” to refine it with a quick suggestion such as “More activities”, or type your own follow‑up request, for example:

3. For assessment, use the Create rubric action on the result.

Use only clean, safe materials (no sharp edges, glass or containers that held chemicals) and supervise cutting.

8. Save, export, or reuse

1. Click “Template” and give your settings a name, such as “Creative Arts – Recycled Materials – 5th Grade”. It appears under Saved templates on the home screen.
2. Open History (the clock icon) to find your recent results again.
3. Use “Download” to get a Word file, “Copy” to paste it into your LMS, or the “Print” view for printed instructions.
